Assassination of Hamas' political leader: 'Everyone is replaceable, including Haniyeh', says expert
"It's not the first time a Hamas leader has been assassinated", said Dr. Gershon Baskin, Israeli Columnist and Middle East Director for ICO – International Communities Organization. "Everyone is replaceable, including Haniyeh. He was an important figure but he wasn't the most important of Hamas today. That person would be Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas in Gaza, who has been underground in a bunker for 300 days, after perpetrating the atrocities against Israel on October 7."
