France secures River Seine ahead of Summer Games
Three boats from the Paris police river brigade scoured up and down the River Seine ahead of the Olympic Games due to start Friday in a drill simulating various scenarios that could threaten the event. The police’s job is to keep watch of the Seine as well as its banks and to disembark as soon as possible in the case of an emergency.
