Hundreds killed in Ethiopia's deadliest recorded landslides

The desperate search for survivors of a landslide in southern Ethiopia continued on Tuesday. At least 229 people were killed, swept away in its path on Monday. Also, in the wake of over six weeks of anti-government protests in Kenya, scores of people were arrested in neighboring Uganda as police cracked down on young people who defied a ban and marched against state corruption.
