Jean-Luc Mélenchon will not be PM if left-wing alliance wins majority, Greens candidate says
France Unbowed's Jean-Luc Mélenchon will not become the next prime minister if the New Front Popular – a left-wing alliance formed between French Socialists, Communists, the greens and the France Unbowed party – wins a majority in the French parliament, Greens candidate Charlotte Minvielle told FRANCE 24 adding that Mélenchon "is not a consensual figure" within the alliance.
