Palestinian Authority prime minister Mohammad Shtayyeh on Monday announced the resignation of his government ruling parts of the West Bank to allow for the formation of a broader consensus among Palestinians about political arrangements following the Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip. The announcement came as Israeli’s military "presented the War Cabinet with a plan for evacuating the population from areas of fighting in the Gaza Strip", said a statement released from Israeli President Binyamin Netanyahu's office.
